Vom 22. – 24. Juni 2018 präsentiert Berlin Mondiale Video- und Sound-Installationen der Teilnehmer*innen des Media Arts Lab. Das Media Arts Lab ist eine monatliche Serie von Workshops, mit Fokus auf die Erforschung und künstlerische Produktion thematisch zeit-basierter Kunstwerke. Mit Unterstützung von Berlin Mondiale in Zusammenarbeit mit ALEX Berlin und Media Residents ist das Media Arts Lab offen für Berliner Jugendliche zwischen 13 und 18 Jahren.
Die Ausstellung behandelt Subjektivität – betrachtet innerhalb der Grenzen von öffentlichen und privaten Strukturen. Die Künstler*innen erkunden Formen des Selbstportraits und ihr unmittelbares Umfeld.

From June 22 – 24, 2018, Berlin Mondiale will feature video and sound installation works by Media Arts Lab’s participants as part of 48 Hours Neukölln Arts Festival. Media Arts Lab is a series of monthly workshops focusing on research and creation of thematically time-based artworks. Supported by Berlin Mondiale in collaboration with ALEX Berlin and Media Residents, the lab is open to Berlin youths between the age of 13 and 18.
The exhibition deals with subjectivity – examined within margins of public and private structures. The artists explore self-portraiture and their immediate environments foregrounding themselves as conscious observers of specific time and space.
