Gemeinsam mit vielen Partner*innen hat die Berlin Mondiale in den letzten Wochen und Monaten für mehr Unterstützung für Urbane Praxis in Berlin gekämpft. Wir freuen uns deshalb sehr, dass unser Netzwerk als Teil der „Initiative Urbane Praxis“ im neuen Programm DRAUSSENSTADT der Senatsverwaltung für Kultur und Europa dabei ist, das am 10.09.2020 in der Floating University vorgestellt wurde. Das gibt uns die Möglichkeit, unsere Arbeit im Stadtraum zu erweitern: in den nächsten 1,5 Jahren können wir so mit Künstler*innen und Praktiker*innen aus unserer Community in weitere Sozialräume gehen und dort neue Knotenpunkte für Kunst, Kultur und Begegnung aufbauen, wo der Bedarf am größten ist. Together with many partners we have fought for more support for Urban Practice in Berlin over the last weeks and months. We are excited to announce that, as part of the Urban Practice Initiative, our network will participate in the new OUTDOOR CITY programme by Senatsverwaltung für Kultur und Europa, which was introduced at Floating University on 10 September 2020. This will give us the opportunity to expand our work within the urban space over the next 1.5 years: together with artists and practitioners from our network, we can go into even more neighbourhoods and build new hubs for art, culture and community where there’s the biggest need for it.
